Ghana's quarter-final hero Christian Atsu says they can do even better than the 3-0 win over Guinea when they face Equatorial Guinea in Thursday's semi-final clash.

The on-loan Everton player grabbed the headlines with his two goals including a stunning curler from the edge of the box.

Atsu is expected to replicate that performance against the hosts.

The 23-year-old does not want the Black Stars to rest on their oars.

"I think we need to do much better than against Guinea," Atsu said.

"Anything can happen in football but we are prepared for any difficulties."

Atsu is Ghana's leading scorer with at the tournament with three goals from four matches.
