Andre Ayew feels has a special role to play in Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations winning campaign as a senior member of the team.

The Olympique Marseille is one of the most experienced players of the current Black Stars set up after being roped into the team in 2007 by Claude Le Roy.

The 25-year-old is making his fourth Nations Cup finals appearance and says there is huge responsibility on him not to disappoint.

“As a vice-captain, I have a special role. I have been here the longest after Asamoah Gyan. The two of us have a very good understanding and we try to bring our experience and help the group,” Ayew told AFP in an interview.
