Abia Warriors players and officials have been granted a 10-day break to recharge and prepare for the upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The team is expected to resume training on Sunday, July 21, 2024, ahead of the new season.
The 2024/25 season will start in August 31, 2024.
Chairman of the Umuahia based club, John Obuh praised the players for their impressive run to the final of the President Federation Cup and encouraged them to work even harder to meet the heightened expectations of fans and followers in the upcoming season.
During the break, players and officials will have time to rest and refocus before returning to training, ready to face the challenges of the new season.
