Ndidi had been in doubt for the crucial match after receiving his second yellow card of the qualifying series against Gabon on Thursday.

However, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that the Besiktas star is eligible to feature against the Leopards.

"We are happy that Wilfred can play tomorrow, the clarification is out now, no issues," Troost-Ekong said.

"We also understand what it means for any player on yellow card to miss a game. It's good to know that he is available for the game"

Ndidi impressed in Nigeria's 4-1 win over Gabon, providing the assist for Victor Osimhen's third goal.

His availability is a major boost for the Super Eagles, who will face DR Congo in Rabat on Sunday.
