The Nigerian delegation arrived earlier today, completing their journey from Cairo, Egypt, and settling into their AFCON base.

Star striker Victor Osimhen joined his teammates on Wednesday evening, completing the squad and allowing the technical crew to work with the full group for the first time.

The team will hold its first training session in Fes later today, focusing on light drills, recovery, and initial tactical organization.

Nigeria's early arrival in Morocco is seen as a strategic move, giving players time to adjust to the weather and conditions.

The three-time African champions, in their stay in Egypt, lost 2-1 to the Pharaohs in a pre-tournament friendly.

The Super Eagles are in Group C, alongside Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania, and will open their campaign on December 23.

After a runner-up finish at the last AFCON and missing out on World Cup qualification, Morocco presents an opportunity for redemption.
