In a significant development for the Super Eagles, Terem Moffi of OGC Nice has joined the squad, swelling the camp to 25 players in Abidjan, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The striker, stepping in for the injured Victor Boniface, arrived at the Pullman Hotel base on Sunday night.

Boniface, who underwent surgery in Berlin last week for a groin injury sustained in training, makes way for Moffi's inclusion.

The forward was played 77 minutes of his side away 2-0 lost to Stadde Rennes on Saturday in the Ligue 1.

The OGC Nice star is set to participate in the Super Eagles' training at the Ecole Nationale de la Police on Monday afternoon. The session, commencing at 4:00 pm local time, is open to the media.

After a 1-1 draw in their opening 2023 Africa Cup of Nations match against Nzalang Nacional of Equatorial Guinea, Jose Peseiro's side gears up for a crucial clash against hosts Cote d'Ivoire on Thursday.
