Ghanaian international attacker Winful Cobbinah has firmly fixed his sights on succeeding in the Saudi Arabian top-flight league.

The former VfL Wolfsburg triallist, 23, joined Saudi Pro League side Al Najran from Ghanaian Premier League giants Hearts of Oak last October.

Cobbinah has struck thrice in six games, amassing 518 league minutes to write an impressive script about his talent and form which has helped Najran moved away from the danger zone.

"[I've] scored three goals in six games and that was in the first round. We'd be starting the second round in three weeks and, yeah I want to do well and help my club," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Najran were miserably languishing in the relegation zone before Cobbinah arrived at the club.

But after 13 games from the first round, Najran have popped out of the zone and are now competing for a mid-table place.

Something Cobbinah is delighted about: "They played 8 games without a win... so I will say I've been a source of help to them since I arrived."

Cobbinah was one of the massive talents on the Ghanaian local scene last season but he was snapped up by Najran for a reported $300,000.
