Udinese star midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has lavished praise on Medeama SC midfielder Kwasi Donsu for his triple award winning achievement at the MTN FA Cup Awards gala on Friday night. 

The powerful midfielder, 21, won the coveted Most Valuable Player and two others; Goal King with six goals and Best Goal of the Tournament to hit the limelight for the first time in his career.

Donsu, who hails from Seikwa - Agyemang-Badu's hometown in the Brong Ahafo region, has been picking his inspiration from the Black Stars midfielder and played for his former club Berlin FC in Berekum.

Badu was full of praise for the youngster's heroics following the commanding display in the competition and standing out among all players.

"I'm so happy to hear he won the triplets. It's great for him you know because it will bolster his confidence as a young player. It is obviously the beginning of a brighter future ahead of him," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

"He knows what he can do and I also know that very much because he is one of the players I have been following keenly because he is from where I come from - Seikwa," he added.

"He sometimes come around when I'm Ghana and I'm feeling good about him showing positivity in winning."

Donsu whose highlighted trademark is scoring from range close to a switch to Kotoko three seasons ago but the Porcupine Warriors failed to show interest in him.
