Transfer Deadline: Super Eagles forward set to complete move to the Reale Arena
Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq will complete his €20m move to Real Sociedad very soon, some reports have it that it will be completed today.
Real Sociedad began talks to sign striker Sadiq from Almeria following the collapse of his move to Villarreal.
Sadiq is set to sign for five years worth €20m, plus €10m add-ons and an option to sign for one more season.
The lanky striker scored the winner for newly-promoted Almeria in the 2-1 home win over Sevilla last Saturday, to register his second Spanish La Liga goal of the campaign.
He will replace Aleksandar Isak who moved to Saudi owned Premier League outfit Newcastle last weekend.
The Nigerian scored 43 goals in 84 games with Almería, firing them into LaLiga at the end of last season.
Meanwhile, Partizan Belgrade will get a percentage of Umar Sadiq's transfer fee.
