Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has shed off the expectation of winning the Serie A to scorer this season claiming his club wining the league is his priority. Nigeriasiccernet.com reports.

The Italian side have not won the league in 33 years but appear to be closer than ever. Napoli sit comfortably at the submit of the league table with 62 points, fifteen more than Inter Milan in second position after 23 games.

And just like Napoli, Osimhen could see himself winning the league Golden Boot with his 18 goals so far in the league but the Super Eagle striker will rather focus on the former.

“The team comes first before my personal ambition,” he told ESPN.

“If I win it, that’s fine but what I want to do is try to win trophies with my team. As long as the team is winning, it doesn’t matter to me who gets the goals or whether I win top scorer or not.”
