Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari has paid glowing tribute to fans of Inter and Milan saying they ‘will always be in my heart’.

The 30-year-old, who was available on a free transfer after parting ways with Milan last month, has joined Al Ittihad Jeddah on two-year deal.

Muntari had a successful five-year spell at Inter where he won the treble- league, Coppa Italia and UEFA Champions League- in 2010.

At rival club AC Milan, he played for three-and-a-half season where he made 70 appearances for the Diavolo, scoring 11 goals.

“The fans of Inter and Milan will always be in my heart,” the 30-year-old told Calciomercato.com.

“I face this new adventure with the right spirit and with hard work, as I always have.

“It’s a step forward in my career. I don’t leave Italy defeated, in Italy I’ve won everything.

“Wherever I played I’ve always had a good relationship with everyone. My best memory? When I won everything with Mourinho.”
