Finidi following his disappointing outing as the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic has been under immersed pressure from several stakeholders in the country.

The ex-international on his debut played a 1-1 draw again the Bafana Bafana in Uyo before going away to lose 2-1 to Benin Republic throwing away a one goal lead in the first half.

With the inspiring results, Nigeria falls to 5th in the group six teams and four points behind the group leaders, South Africa.

Now Finidi according to reports in the several media space has thrown in the tower.

While we await the confirmation from his employers, Nigeria Football Federal, several foreign managers have been suggested as the new Technical Adviser of the team.
