Super Falcons Coach, Randy Waldrum has stated that his team's loss against Mexico in the Revelation Cup was a learning process, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Falcons lost by a goal to nil in their first match of the maiden Revelation Cup which started in Mexico on Wednesday.

The US tactician disclosed that the Falcons faired well on the day, but admitted the superiority of the host towards the end of the encounter leading to the goal.

"The twenty minutes of the second half Mexico started to get on top of us created a lot of good chances before the half, but I did feel we had a lot of time to chance to organize of ourselves. I thought we came out a lot better. But in football you have to have the depth, the players; luckily we have a lot of young players and it is learning process for us" He said.

He spoke about the injury to Rofiat Imran who was substituted towards the end of the first half for Grace Ogbonna.

"I haven't in anyway spoken with the doctors to know the extent of the injury, but it looked like a stomach issue as that is what I saw them work on. I don't know the status now, but it definitely changes your team."

The Falcons will go against Colombia in their second match of the pre World Cup tournament in Leon, Mexico on Saturday.
