Ralph Hasenhuttl has impressed during his time at RB Leipzig.

RB Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick says Ralph Hasenhuttl is good enough for Bayern Munich and could "coach every side in the world."

Leipzig boss Hasenhuttl has previously been put forward by Bayern president Uli Hoeness as a future coach of the German champions.

Former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel is reportedly Bayern's top target to replace interim boss Jupp Heynckes next summer, but Hasenhuttl, who played for the Bavarians' reserves for two years, remains a contender for the post.

According to Rangnick, Hasenhuttl has what it takes to succeed at the Allianz Arena, but added that he does not think he will go there before his contract with Leipzig expires in 2019.

"Ralph could coach every team in the world," Rangnick told Sport Bild. "The question is if he wants to do it. Right now, there's no reason to leave the train here at Leipzig. Not for our players nor for our employees, and that includes me.

"That Ralph, just like our players, has been linked to other clubs is only a logical consequence of our development. He could do Bayern, but I don't think he'll go there in the next two years."

Hasenhuttl guided newly promoted Leipzig to second place in the Bundesliga last term in his first season at the club.

Leipzig and Bayern are set to meet on Wednesday and Saturday in the DFB Pokal second round and Bundesliga respectively.
