Ashanti Gold defender Tijani Joshua, has issued a warning to champions Asante Kotoko that they face a daunting task when they visit on Sunday.

The miners have had a dream start to league sitting comfortable at the summit of the league table with 15 points after six games.

In contrast Asante Kotoko have struggled for form and consistency and will be looking to picking themselves up after a demoralizing loss to rivals Hearts at home last week.

But Joshua says they will not be entertaining any hostages when Kotoko come visiting.

“We know what we have to do to stop them and we have already proven how serious we are this season,” Joshua told Ghanasoccernet.com

“Kotoko is a great club with top players who are capable of changing games but our strength is team work and we will be counting on it to beat Kotoko.”
