Kano Pillars are chasing Enugu Rangers forward Osas Okoro as a direct replacement for Azeez Shobowale, who has signed for Sudanese giants Al Hilal.

However, Okoro’s quest to move overseas soon may be the stumbling block to Pillars plan to snap up the Nigeria ‘B’ international.

A top Pillars official informed AfricanFootball.com that they have tried to contact Okoro but have not succeeded because they were told he is working on plying his football abroad.

Okoro, a tricky right winger or right-sided midfielder, has spent most of his career at Heartland before he joined Rangers three seasons ago.

He featured for Nigeria at this year’s CHAN in Rwanda.
