Ghana star Mubarak Wakaso had the National Chief Imam His Eminence Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu lead prayers to open his newly acquired house in the affluent community of American House, East Legon.

According to GHANASoccernet.com sources, the event happened last week before the end of the muslim month of Ramadan with invitation extended to only family friends.

There were Quranic recitations and special prayers from the leader of the muslims in Ghana.

Wakaso, who is set to leave Russian side Rubian Kazan, later wrote on his social media page:

“ALLAHU AKBAR ALLAHU AKBAR ALLAHU AKBAR ??I thank ALLAH?????????? for my new home also given thamks to national chief IMAM for the opening of my new home???????????#?ALLAHisalwaysgreat. “
