Nigeria's star striker, Asisat Oshoala, has been given the green light to join the Super Falcons in their showdown against South Africa's Banyana Banyana in the 2024 Olympic Games qualifier, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Oshoala, who missed the first leg due to late arrival at camp and fitness concerns, has participated in the team's recent training sessions, bolstering hopes for her availability.

Despite initial doubts expressed by head coach Randy Waldrum about Oshoala's readiness, her inclusion marks a significant boost for the Nigerian squad.

The Super Falcons hold a narrow 1-0 lead from the first leg and will look to capitalize on Oshoala's return in the crucial encounter set to take place at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria, with kick-off scheduled for 6:30 pm Nigerian time.
