Four top managers in the Nigeria Premier Football League have been shortlisted for the prestigious Coach of the Month award for February, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The contenders include Fidelis Ilechukwu of Rangers, Mangut Mbwas of Plateau United, Meremu Okara of Bayelsa United, and Paul Offor of Sporting Lagos.

Mbwas led Plateau United to an impressive month, with his team netting seven goals. The Peace Boys remained undefeated, clinching two victories and a draw.

Offor's Sporting Lagos demonstrated a commendable performance, securing three wins and suffering only one defeat throughout the month.

Under his guidance, the team, previously struggling, managed to steer clear of the relegation zone, marking a remarkable turnaround from the season's earlier setbacks.

Okara played a pivotal role in Bayelsa United's resurgence, guiding them to three consecutive wins. The Prosperity Boys' stellar performance saw them climb out of the drop zone, showcasing Okara's tactical prowess.

On the other hand, Ogunmodede's Remo Stars secured a solitary point from two games played during the month, demonstrating a relatively subdued performance compared to their counterparts.
