Shooting Stars Sports Club held group A league leaders, Bendela Insurance to a two all draw at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan on Sunday in their Nigeria Premier Football League match day 7 clash, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Oluyole Warriors, after falling behind twice, rallied back to earn a point in a four-goal thrilling encounter.

Taofeek Malomo and Opeoluwa Olufemi scored late in the first and second half to cancel out Imade Osarenkhoe and Sarki Ismael to give the Host a hard fought point at their home ground.

Insurance leading goal scorer, Osarenkhoe took his goal tally to five this season after opening score in the first minute of the game to put the visitors in the lead.

Despite the push for a goal by the home team, Insurance remained efficient to repel any form of attack from 3SC and push forward to score.

And 37th minute, Imade stole a ball in the Shooting half, he linked up well with Sarki Ismael and the latter released a shot that beat Okechukwu Johnson to make it two for the visiting team.

Malomo Taofeek reduced the deficit in the 43rd minute to give Shooting Stars a lifeline as they retire for the half time break.

At the start of the second half, 3SC pushed for the equaliser with several attempts as Insurance continued to hold on for the win.

They couldn't hold in for long as Olufemi finally put the both sides at equilibrium in the 65th minute leaving the stadium with loud cheers from the home fans.

The remaining minutes of the game would be pulsating as the two sides sought to outdo the other before the final whistle, but it ended 2-2 as Bendel Insurance remain unbeaten in the league after 7 matches.
