Gombe United earned a vital point away from home after playing a one all draw against Nasarawa United in the Nigeria Premier Football League match day 14 fixture in Jos on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The host, Nasarawa United had to come back from a goal down to equalise in a cagey affair that saw all goals come in the second half at the Jos New stadium, Jos, Plateau State.

After a first half dominated by the Host, the second half saw the Savannah Scorpions take the lead in the 71st minute via Usman Abbas to cross was turned in by the goalkeeper, Mohammed Galadima.

Nigeria's U-20 star, Ayuba Francis levelled score for the Solid Miners in the 85th minute of the game. A score that remained same till the end of the match.

The result leapfrogs Gombe United to sixth on the group A log pending Shooting Stars Sports Club game on Sunday while Nasarawa United remain 9th on the standings.
