Two-time African champions Enyimba have told eight players to seek their future elsewhere after a disappointing season.

Nigeriasoccernet has been informed that among the eight players are two goalkeepers as well as a player whose loan spell at the club came to an end in the concluded campaign.

The others put on the transfer list are two defenders, a midfielder and three forwards.

However, the players are now looking to secure their clearance papers from Enyimba in a bid to move to other clubs, it was learned.

A handful of players also told Nigeriasoccernet that the club owe them three months’ wages and several match bonuses.

The Peoples Elephant finished in 10th place in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) with 50 points, 13 less than champions Enugu Rangers, lost in the semis of the Cup and reached the group stage of the Caf Champions League.
