The NPFL All-Stars resumed training in Abuja Tuesday morning, but without six of the players from champions Enyimba, who have a rescheduled Nigeria league match against Sunshine Stars on Wednesday.

The six Enyimba players are skipper Chinedu Udoji, goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai, Ezekiel Bassey, Dare Ojo, Chima Akas and Joseph Osadiaye.

These players are also booked to fly directly to Egypt from the friendlies in Spain for a must-win CAF Champions League Group B clash against Zamalek on August 14.

Tuesday’s All-Stars training began at 7.30 am with 18 players in attendance.

Niger Tornadoes leftback Gabriel Wassa was the only player who did not take part in the session due to a knock he picked up in his club’s game at the weekend.

The squad led by Super Eagles chief coach Salisu Yusuf are billed to fly out to Spain next week Tuesday.

They will come up against La Liga clubs like Valencia and Malaga in Spain from August 10.
