Mai Kunkele United, Kano Ambassadors, Warinje FC, and City FC have qualified for the NNL after finishing top of the centres in the Northern Conference of the Nationwide League One promotional playoff, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The four teams emerged as winners of the Bwari Centre (Abuja), ABS Centre (Kaduna), Jos Centre, and Gumel Centre (Jos) after three matches were played.

Mai Kunkele United edged House of Prayer Football Academy to win the Bwari Centre as both teams garnered 7 points each, but the Niger State based side triumphed on goals difference.

Kano Ambassadors maintained their perfect start throughout to win their group with 9 points, 3 points better than JNR Danburan, which finished in second place.

Bauchi State side Warinje FC, with two points, outwitted Kaduna United FC to progress at the ABS Centre, while City FC of Abuja remained untouchable with 9 points to progress at the Gumel Centre.

The eight teams, four from the Southern Conference and the four from the Northern Conference, will play in the NLO Super Eight.
