Francesco Calzona, Napoli's interim coach, asserts that Victor Osimhen is gradually reaching peak performance levels, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Osimhen's consistent scoring streak since his return from the Africa Cup of Nations has bolstered the Serie A champions.

With five goals in his last three matches, the 25-year-old showcased his prowess before Napoli's 2-1 triumph over Juventus on Sunday night.

Despite missing a late penalty, Osimhen's impact remained significant as Giancomo Raspadori secured victory for Napoli.

Calzona after the game emphasized Osimhen's importance alongside Kvaratskhelia, noting their resurgence from challenging periods this season.

Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen are two fundamental players for this team. They both had difficult moments this season, but are now almost back to their usual levels,” he said.

With 11 goals in 16 league appearances, Osimhen continues to be a vital asset for Napoli.
