Napoli is eyeing a strategic move for Terem Moffi as a prospective successor to Victor Osimhen, amid the looming departure of the former Serie A champions' striker, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Osimhen's impending exit has prompted Napoli to explore options, with Moffi emerging as a prime contender to fill the void left by the departing Lille forward.

Moffi's standout performances for Ligue 1 outfit OGC Nice have caught Napoli's attention, with the 23-year-old Nigerian boasting an impressive tally of 11 goals already this season.

Bayer Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface is also another Nigeria international who in recent times has been names as a potential replacement to the Napoli star but the recent development from Daily Post is suggesting the former Lorient striker, Moffi.

Despite his prowess, Moffi remains under contract at Nice until 2027, presenting Napoli with a potential challenge in securing his services.
