Achikens FC promoted to Division One League Zone II

Achickens FC have qualified to play in next season’s Division One League Zone II after beating Honey Moon FC by a lone goal at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday afternoon.
They topped the fourteen-team table in the Ashanti Regional Division Two Middle League.
Achickens FC proceeded from Group B of the promotional playoffs after beating Sola FC and Golden Stars by 4-1 and 3-1 respectively to set up a date with Abdul Razak's (Golden Boy) Honey Moon FC.
Nana Antwi Manu rose to the occasion by fetching the only goal of the afternoon secure the ticket to join the DOL next season.
Achickens lost the final of the Division Two qualifiers to Cornerstones last season but were second time lucky this time around.
