Kotoko have been linked with a move for out-of-favour Hearts winger  Ollenu Ashitey, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

The Porcupine Warriors are firming  up plans to entice the youngster to join them after struggling to hold down a position in the team.

Ashitey, highly regarded as one of the brightes talents in Ghana, has been frozen out of the team this season.

He has refused to turn up for training, prompting speculations he will not extend his deal when it expires at the end of the current campaign.

The youngster is keen to re-unite with his former coach David Duncan at Kotoko and has signaled his intention to cross-carpet at the end of the current campaign.

Kotoko are keen to bolster their squad after crushing out of the CAF Champions League this year.

They are however still in the race to retain their Premier Leagu crown and have identified the 20-year-old as part of their next movement.
