Kano Pillars Football club have appointed Coach Evans Ogenyi as the club's technical adviser ahead of the approved of the forthcoming 2022/2023 NNL season.

 

Pillars unveiled Ogenyi alongside other members of the team at Kano State Sports Commission in a ceremony conducted by the Acting Chairman of the club Dr. Ibrahim Galadima.

 

According to a press release from the club's media, Evans Ogenyi was appointed as Technical Adviser, Ibrahim A. Musa as Chief Coach, Ahmad Garba Yaro Yaro Coach, Gambo Muhammad Assistant Coach and Abbas Auwalu as Goalkeeper Trainer.

 

Galadima said out of 31 applicants received 14 were shortlisted five from foreign countries include one Mexico, two from Ghana, one from Cote d Ivoire and Togo.

 

He said their appointments is with immediate effect and they are to start assembling players of the club for normal training from today.

 

The former Warri Wolves Coach who hails from Benue State is an FA Cup winning coach with Ocean Boys of Bayelsa State.
