World Cup Playoffs: Super Eagles to begin training in 10 days
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced that the Super Eagles will begin their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs on November 9 in Rabat, Morocco, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The team will open camp on Sunday, November 9, ahead of their semi-final match against Gabon on November 13.
Head coach Eric Chelle is expected to release his squad list for the mini-tournament next week.
The semi-finals will be played at two venues: El Barid Stadium and Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex.
Nigeria will kick off the semi-finals against Gabon at 5 pm, while Cameroon will take on the Democratic Republic of Congo at 8 pm.
The final will be played on November 16 at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Stadium, with the winner advancing to the intercontinental playoffs for a chance to secure one of Africa's spots at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
