Benin Republic midfielder, Junior Olaitan has expressed his disappointment after his team's 4-0 defeat to Nigeria ended their hopes of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Cheetahs needed a positive result to keep their qualification dreams alive, but the loss dashed their aspirations for a maiden World Cup appearance.
