NWFL: Bayelsa Queens thrash Naija Ratel in rescheduled fixture
Bayelsa Queens delivered a commanding performance on Thursday morning, defeating Naija Ratels 5–0 in a rescheduled NWFL Premiership fixture at the Bwari Stadium, Abuja, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The match, originally slated for Wednesday, was postponed to 8:00 a.m. on Thursday due to administrative reasons. The reigning champions put the delay behind them as they dominated from start to finish.
Bayelsa Queens took the lead in the 12th minute through Kesiena Ojiyovwi, who finished calmly after sustained pressure. The advantage was doubled in the 36th minute when Kindness Ifeanyi pounced on a loose ball to make it 2–0.
