Kwara United direct Coach Sanni to step aside

Kwara United FC have parted ways with their head coach, Tunde Sanni, following their 0-1 defeat in Ilorin against Abia Warriors FC, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

One week after their elimination from the CAF Confederation Cup, the team lost 0-1 at home for a second successive Sunday, this time in the Nigeria Premier Football League against Abia Warriors.

Sanni guided the club to their first-ever President's Federation Cup triumph last season.

Assistant coach Ashifat Suleiman takes charge with immediate effect.
