Flying Eagles to face Kogi United in a pre-season friendly
The Flying Eagles, Nigeria's Under-20 team, will play a pre-season friendly match against Kogi United Football Club on Thursday, April 17, 2025, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The match will take place at the FIFA Goal Project, Package B of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, and kick off at 4 pm.
Kogi United's team manager, Tijani Ibrahim, said the friendly match will serve as a test for his team's preparedness ahead of the Nationwide League One playoffs.
Technical Adviser Gilbert Opana according to Daily Post, described the match against the Flying Eagles as a high-profile encounter, noting that both teams are preparing for new challenges.
The Flying Eagles are gearing up for the U-20 African Cup of Nations in Egypt later this month.
