CAF has released the official list of match officials selected to oversee the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025, scheduled to run from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The lineup features 73 officials, including 28 referees, 31 assistant referees, and 14 VAR specialists, all chosen for their expertise and strong track records in top-level African football.

These appointments bring together officials from every region of the continent, many of whom have handled major CAF competitions in recent years. Their collective experience reflects CAF’s objective to maintain high officiating standards and ensure consistency throughout Africa’s premier football tournament.

Ahead of the competition, all selected officials are expected to arrive in Morocco on 15 December 2025 for a rigorous preparatory course.

Organized by CAF’s Referees Department, the programme will consist of physical, technical, and theoretical evaluations designed to equip the officials for peak performance during the tournament.
