Impressive Plumptre gets Goal of the Month nomination
Al Ittihad defender, Ashleigh Plumptre is in contention for the Saudi Women’s Premier League Goal of the Month, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The nomination is for her second goal during Al Ittihad’s impressive 6-2 victory over Al Ahly.
Plumptre, who plays as a centre-back, showcased her prowess by scoring a hat-trick in the first half of the game – her second hat-trick since joining Al Ittihad.

Notably, she had marked her debut for the club with a remarkable hat-trick as well.
Among the nominees for the award are Tanzania’s Clara Lovanga and Mexico’s Veronica Perez.
Plumptre has been a significant contributor to Al Ittihad's success this season, having scored a total of six goals.
