Ikorodu City Football Club have reached a shirt sponsorship deal with African's leading betting platform, BetKing Nigeria, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Lagos based club and BetKing sealed the deal in a ceremony for the 2022/23 Nigeria National League season in Lagos on Thursday.

The second division side have joined the likes of Remo Stars, VFC, Sporting Lagos and Gbagada FC to be the face of modern day football club in Nigeria.

Ikorodu have metamorphosed into a viable club after the change of name from Bolowantan FC in 2007.

They are in the finals of the 2023 Lagos State FA Cup after edging Box to Box FC in Thursday's final on penalties.
