The summit brought together the FIFA leadership, Confederation officials, and chieftains of FIFA’s Member Associations to engage in strategic discussions on FIFA competitions, women’s football, and development programmes at the heart of the expanded FIFA Club World Cup Championship.

The inaugural Summit brought together representatives from 68 Member Associations and featured a keynote address by FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström. Attendees also engaged in a panel discussion that included 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup champion Heather O’Reilly and football legend Ronaldo.
In addition, four breakout sessions provided participants with the opportunity to explore a variety of strategic topics, including FIFA women’s and youth football competitions, the FIFA Series, the FIFA Forward programme, and other key FIFA initiatives. Two more Summits are scheduled to take place in the coming days, accommodating the remaining Member Associations.
