Guillem Balague Claims Barca and Man City Won't Respect Hector Bellerin's Wish to Stay at Arsenal
"?Arsenal and Spain right-back Hector Bellerin has become a wanted man, and many suggest that the London side will have difficulty keeping him away from other teams in the next summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old has blossomed into one of the best defenders in England, and is also one of the fastest players in world football today.
Starting out as a youth at Barcelona, Bellerin moved to Arsenal in 2011. He was given his chance in the first team two years later, and would move to Watford on loan.
The Spaniard has been featuring regularly for the Gunners since the 2014/15, but Barcelona - quite unsurprisingly - want him back.
Manchester City are also said to be monitoring the player, and Pep Guardiola is a huge admirer. With Arsenal's poor luck when it comes to losing players to Barca and City, this one seems like a question of where the defender will end up and not whether or not he stays.
Spanish journalist Guillem Balague has said that while he can see that Bellerin wants to remain at the Emirates, he doesn't think that Luis Enrique and Pep Guardiola will relent in their chase once the race begins, despite the player's obvious desire to stay put.

"?The Sun have reported that Arsene Wenger is ready to offer the full-back almost double his current wages in order to make it harder to leave.
Now on £50,000-a-week, the manager is planning to offer a contract of £96,000-a week.
He said: "Hector has nearly three years of his contract to go "? and that is why I'm surprised by the speculation. We will try to extend his contract because, for me, his long-term future is here."?
The player himself reiterated his desire to stay on at Arsenal during the summer break amid the interest from his former club. However, it all remains to be seen whether he stays, as the Spanish giants hardly ever miss out on their top targets.
