The Nigeria U-17 football team, Golden Eaglets will be leaving their base in Nigeria for a training tour in Germany to further prepare for the 2023 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations, Nigeriasoccernet.com  reports.

The fifteenth edition of the U-17 AFCON is scheduled to take place from April 29 to May 19 in Algeria.

The five-time world champions before the tournament are expected to spend a few weeks in Germany before proceeding to Algeria for the competition.

Uduka Ugbade’s boys are handed a tough draw that would see them face Morocco, the winner of the north African zone, and Zambia, the champion of the south zone, with South Africa, a perennial rival.
