Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic has sang the praise of Nigerian youngster Dennis Adeniran after he scored in his senior team debut in a League Cup win over Leyton Orient.

English Champions side Fulham won 3-2 with Adeniran, a product of the club's academy, getting the opening goal of the game with a header on Tuesday.

“They play very good football and showed great character. Dennis scored one goal,” remarked Jokanovic.

“I have enough youngsters. I want to bring in senior players. I have five kids. They show me quality and characters.

“Five youngsters are enough. In the future, they can be important players for the football club.”

Adeniran was substituted in the 70th minute due to cramp.

Another Nigerian youngster Tayo Edun also played for Fulham in the game.
