Highly rated Ghana winger Frank Acheampong’s move to French giants Marseille has stalled following the sudden resignation of Coach Marcello Bielsa.

Acheampong is seen as a rising star in European football with his pace and ability to maintain his balance when in flight endearing him to a lot of clubs across Europe.

Recent reports have strongly linked him with a move to Marseille with Argentine coach Marcelo Bielsa a huge admirer of Acheampong’s talent.

The deal however looks uncertain now following the unexpected resignation of Bielsa after just a game into the new season.

The 22 year old Ghana international will now have to wait and see if Bielsa’s successor will be interested in bringing him to the Valedrome.
