Striker Francis Dadzie scored his first goal for North East United on Friday when the Indian side thumped Ethekwini Coastal United in a pre-season match in South Africa.

The former Bechem United player scored the third goal in the 4-0 win which was played in Durban.

Dadzie is settling down fast after joining the club early this month.

Last Tuesday he was influential in the 3-1 friendly win over Amazulu FC.

The on-loan forward provided an assist for Argentine strike Nicholas Velez to open the scoring.

He made his debut in last weekend’s 3-0 defeat against Maritzburg United.

North East United will continue with pre-season until 22 September in Durban.
