Napoli is facing apprehension over the readiness of Victor Osimhen for their upcoming Serie A clash with Bologna this weekend. Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Partenopei are set to host Rossoblu at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium on Saturday.

Osimhen, as par Fantamaster, sustained an injury during Napoli's recent 1-1 draw against Udinese on Monday evening.

Despite scoring Napoli's sole goal in the match, the 25-year-old forward was substituted just three minutes before the end of regulation time after visibly struggling on the field.

With only three days remaining until the crucial game, Osimhen has a narrow window to demonstrate his fitness and potentially feature in the lineup.

While Napoli already lost the league title to Inter Milan, the Azurri must now fight to at least play in the Conference League if they are to feature in any European competition next season.

The Nigerian international has been instrumental for Napoli this season, tallying an impressive 15 goals in the Italian top-flight campaign so far.
