Felix Nnaemeka Agu cleared to play for Super Eagles
Nigeria-German footballer, Felix Nnaemeka Agu has been confirmed eligible to play for Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Nigeriaaoccernet.com reports.
According to the Nigeria Football Federation social media page, Agu was cleared by the German Football Federation on Saturday.
"The German FF has written to confirm that the player has never represented them at any official game at the A and Junior level"
Paperwork delays have postponed his debut, but he’s training for the Unity Cup in London.
Felix Agu is a 25-year-old German-Nigerian footballer, born September 27, 1999, in Osnabrück, Germany.
He plays as a full-back for Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga, with 22 appearances and 3 goals in the 2024-2025 season.
Paperwork delays have postponed his debut, but he’s training for the Unity Cup in London.
He has only played 2 friendly games for the German U21 team in 2019.
