Shooting Stars ended MFM FC's unbeaten home run on Sunday in the Nigeria Professional Football League as the Oluyole Warriors secured a vital lone goal win at the Agege Stadium in Lagos.

The win for Shooting Stars in the NPFL Match Day 23 contest was not without controversies as fans of the home team encroached the pitch to register their reservation to what they considered biased officiating.

It was the police' intervention that restored normalcy at the venue.

The winning goal for Shooting Stars came off the boots of Ebitmi Agogu who gave his side vital three points with his 82nd minute strike.

Sunday's loss was the first for MFM FC at the Agege stadium since gaining promotion to the top division. For Shooting Stars it was double delight having also won the reverse fixture 3-0 in Ibadan earlier in the season.

Shooting stars are now 16th on the log while MFM FC have dropped to 10th spot.

In other games, Wikki Tourists consolidated their top spot on the table after they came from behind to beat eight-man Kano Pillars 3-1 in Bauchi.
