Relegation threatened Doma United have been left in moody waters after their Nigeria Premier Football League match day 36 loss to Sunshine Stars on Wednesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Savannah Tigers fell 1-0 at the Pantami Stadium, Gombe courtesy of a first half strike by Yusuf Ibrahim which condemned them to a loss against the Akure Gunners at both home and away this season.

Ibrahim scored on 38 minute following a rebound after a goalmouth scramble in the box of the home side and it was enough for the Akure side who with the victory stay safe in the NPFL.

For Doma United, it is a third consecutive loss and third home loss with just two wins in 18 matches in the second round of the NPFL season.

The result put them in an almost impossible situation to navigate as they have to win their next opponents, Abia Warriors by 15 goals to nil and expect Bayelsa United, Akwa United and Sporting Lagos to loss their last matches of the season.
