Crystal Palace, a Premier League club, has joined the race for the signature of Nigerian talent Raphael Onyedika, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The player's stellar performances for Club Brugge in the Belgian Pro League have attracted attention from several top clubs, including LaLiga powerhouse Barcelona.

Palace's recruitment chief, Dougie Freedman, was reportedly in Belgium recently to scout the 23-year-old.

The London club is now poised to make a bid to secure Onyedika's services amid competition from other interested parties.

Since joining Club Brugge from FC Midtylland in 2022, Onyedika has emerged as one of Europe's most promising young players, featuring in 42 games this season and contributing with four goals and two assists.
