Chinwendu Ihezuo opened her Las Rayadas' account with the opening goal in a 3-0 win over Las Centellas del Necaxa in the LigaBBVAFemenil of Mexico over the weekend, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Ihezuo who was part the Super Falcons who took part at the just concluded Revelation Cup scored in the 17th minute of the game to open score for her side with a header at the BBVA Stadium.

She arrived in Monterrey as the last reinforcement of Rayadas for Chinese side, Meizhou Hakka early February and finally scored her first in her fourth match.

The other goals came from Christina Burkenroad in the 21st minute and the Captain, Rebeca Bernal in the 31st minute.

Coach Eva Espejo had high praise for the Nigerian Super Falcons player after the match day seven encounter.

“In the case of Vera (Ihezuo), I love that she opened with a goal, she gave a very important change from the two games before this one, we have been adjusting her work above all with respect to that of the others.

With this new victory, the team led by Eva Espejo reached 7 victories to maintain its perfect pace, with 21 points won out of 21 possible.
