With the first leg of the 2023 Championship of African Nations qualifier between Ghana Black Galaxies and Nigeria's Super Eagles B team gathering momentum, coach Salisu Yusuf has remained hopeful about the game.

Nigeria has been in camp in the last few days ahead of the clash and has also engaged in a series of warm-up games to be fit for the important clash.

The Kano Pillars coach admitted that their counterpart is ahead of them in terms of preparations and match fitness but insisted that with the calibre of players he has, good results are achievable.

"Apart from rivalry, their team is ahead of us in terms of match fitness but I still believe that we have the boys that can fight and get positive results over there.

"They have played some games and they have more cohesion as a team than us but I believe we can beat them," he said.
